THE MONTHLY UPDATE 🚀

Hey all 👋

New features, a few fixes, and one update that changes how you handle student data. Here's what shipped this month.

THIS MONTH’S HIGHLIGHT
Introducing Forms - Student Data, Handled Right

For years, getting a student roster from a school meant the same thing: send an email, wait for a spreadsheet, forward it around, hope nothing got lost. It works. Until it doesn't.

Email isn’t built to carry sensitive student data. A file with hundreds of kids' names and personal details doesn't belong sitting in someone's inbox.

With Forms, ScheduLink automatically sends the school a secure request. The school verifies with a one-time password and uploads the roster directly. No need for attachments, spreadsheet, or juggling between inboxes. Once it's submitted, the data lands in ScheduLink, visible only to the staff who need it. If the deadline passes and your school hasn't submitted the data, the system will automatically send a follow-up email. You don't have to chase anyone.

Schools are asking harder questions about how studios handle their student data. Now you have a real answer.

Forms is live.

MORE UPDATES

Templates for Accounts, Contacts, and Employees You can now create templates for accounts, contacts, and employees. Add custom fields to a template and they carry through to every record created from it. Each page now has a "More Details" section where those custom fields live - so your team can capture everything beyond ScheduLink's default fields.

Filter Panel Now Remembers Your Preference Close the filter once, it stays closed across every module - until you decide to open it again. No more resetting every time you switch tabs.

Task Templates Now Display in Due Date Order Task templates inside an event template used to appear in random order. Now they sort by due date, so you can see the full sequence of work at a glance - and spot if anything's missing in the process.

Assign a Role When Adding Employees to an Event When adding employees to an event, you can now search by role and assign that role to each person for that job. The same person can be added under multiple roles if the job calls for it.

Event Cards Open the Side Drawer Clicking an event on the calendar now opens the side drawer. You stay in your calendar view and still get to everything you need - no page navigation required.

Email Centre — Control Which Notifications You Receive Each person on your team can now control which emails ScheduLink sends them. Go to My Profile → Emails and toggle Note Mentions and Task Assignments on or off. Everyone manages their own email notifications.

BUGS FIXED

Task Assignment Emails Send at the Right Time When an event was created, ScheduLink was sending task assignment emails immediately - even for tasks weeks away. Emails now go out when the start date arrives or the dependency condition is met for each task.

Manual Task Assignments No Longer Reset on Template Edit When you manually reassigned a task to a different employee, editing the task template was overwriting it back to the default employee. That's fixed - manual assignments stick now.

"Full Day Event" No Longer Clears Your Start Date Checking "Full day event" during event creation was wiping out the start date you'd already entered. That's fixed - your dates stay, and only the end time fields adjust.

Events Now Show on Sundays in the Scheduling Tab Events weren't appearing on Sundays. Fixed.
